Create Space for People

Sidewalk Squad

The BeltLine Is Not Enough

The BeltLine Is Not Enough

You've heard of the Pothole Posse, however what about the Sidewalk Squad?

No? Because they don't exist, despite neighbors clamoring for sidewalks for decades.

This will change, where we will update the city budget to ensure miles of new sidewalks are added every single year.

The BeltLine Is Not Enough

The BeltLine Is Not Enough

The BeltLine Is Not Enough

While the Atlanta BeltLine attracts neighbors and tourists alike, the current plan is simply not enough.

We need more pedestrian oriented space throughout the city, including crosstown routes, pedestrian zones at commercial districts, safer streets (Shared Peachtree), and new spaces where people can visit and enjoy without the worry of vehicular conflicts.

Atlantans skate, bike, and love being outdoors. We will provide more continuous greenspace and trail corridors across the city for those of all generations to have fun and get around safely.

Participatory Budgeting

The BeltLine Is Not Enough

You know best what your neighborhoods eouod benefit from having. We need to ensure you and your city council members are equipped financially to decide what projects should be prioritized. No longer should you pay property taxes &/or sales taxes without influence over what services and infrastructure our city provides. You will now be able to help identify those items to be prioritized and delivered.

Each Annual Budget and future TSPLOST or Bond referenda with transportation or park projects will allocate money for you to decide what projects to deliver.

De-Paving Program & Tree-lined Streets

Lets turn hot, empty lots and blistering streets into inviting spaces for our kids and grandparents to enjoy, have shade from the sun, and with beautiful plantings.

Let rainwater soak where it falls. Added benefit will help mitigate flooding, reduce pipe maintenance costs, & lessen impacts of future weather disasters.
