We are going to deliver BeltLine Rail by beginning construction on the Streetcar East Extension following the World Cup, then look towards future phases to deliver.

Goal is to provide an alternative to move those who need, such as disabled military vets, less mobile seniors, and parents with children in town, as well as those who who choose to ride due to the heat, tired legs, or general preference. or choose to ride. The train is not intended to move as quickly as possible.

Mechanicsville is one of Atlanta's most transit reliant neighborhoods, yet split nearly half-way between two rail stations and is often cut-off from Its neighbors due to railroads stopping and blocking streets.

Providing an infill MARTA station at Mechanicsville ensures transit access and further invites everyone to visit Caslteberry Hill, one of Atlanta's greatest cultural hubs.

Our neighbors that rely on Atlanta's highest usage bus route deserves the best. We must move forward imminently with transit signal priority, dedicated transit lanes, and deliver an overdue upgrade for Southwest Atlanta

Atlanta's HBCUs are juggernauts that must be provided more reliable connectivity to the rest of our city. They have shaped our past and will always influence Atlanta's future. 

Bus Rapid Transit lanes from Ashby Station, through AUC, connected with West End Station, as well as tying in to Summerhill BRT, connecting our classmates with every high capacity transit line in the city.

Currently, our green line operates limited hours for its fullest extent from Bankhead Station to Edgewood - Candler Park Station. However, this service is often truncated to terminate at King Memorial Station.

To provide more reliable frequency of service, we must extend green line service eastbound at all ours of operation. 

Wishing I said "extend northbound towards Cobb"? Yes, we should extend an olive brand and incentivize Cobb County to join MARTA. Green line to The Battery, anyone? But first, control what we can.

We need to be better partners to MARTA and encourage more homes and businesses to operate within close proximity to existing rail stations, the BeltLine, as well as various other planned high capacity transit routes.

MARTA’s surface parking lots? Lets get people living in homes there instead of sitting empty much of the day and night.
